My name is Larry Kozak, Certified Senior Advisor and I live with my family in Algonquin, Illinois.  I am married with three children.  The oldest girl is married and she has two children so that makes my wife and I grandparents.  Our oldest boy is in college at the University of Illinois studying physics. And our youngest boy is will be starting 3rd grade in the Fall. 

I work with Seniors and Babyboomers all over the Chicagoland area.  Typically you will find me and my partner putting on informational programs for church groups, senior groups, clubs and organizations.  We keep Seniors and Babyboomers informed as to the latest changes in Medicare, Prescription Drug Plans, In-Home, Short Term and Long Term Health Care Insurance Plans and Annuities.

In 1996, a select group of geriatric MDs, gerontologists, elder law attorneys, CPAs, financial planners and other experts on senior issues assisted with the formation of the Society of Certified Senior Advisors.  Based on a report from AARP, 1.5 million professionals work full-time with seniors--8,000 have gerontology degrees.  It was evident that those working with seniors needed a training program on priority senior issues.  The Society of Certified Senior Advisors was born.
