Question #1.  Is it legal to buy my prescription drugs from Canada?

Answer:  Yes, the U.S. Customs will allow you to import as much as three-month supply for personal use.  You may personally transport it across the boarder or order your medications and have them shipped by mail. 

Question #2.  Can I save money by purchasing my drugs from Canada?

Answer:  Typically for what you would pay for a one-month supply here in Canada you will get a three-month supply.  Most of the prices are really this good but you must check your individual drug. 

Question #3.  In Canada do they substitute generic or different brand drugs?

Answer:  No, you get brand for brand and you only get generic if you specify.  Often the drugs are shipped in the manufactures original bottles.

Question 4.  I heard that is was hard to set up to purchase prescription drugs from Canada?

Answer:  Usually all you need to do is fill out a very short form.  You will need to have a debit card or a credit card for payment.  Your doctor will for most patients simply fax in the prescription for you.  Just be sure to tell him to make it for a 3-month supply.  Usually the phone number is a toll free "800" number.
